Statement of faith

We believe that God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son to die on the cross; who then rose from the grave on the third day and later ascended to heaven. Jesus lived a sinless life, and by dying on the cross payed the ultimate price for our sins so that all who believe in him can can be saved from the penalty and power of sin.

  • We believe in the triune God who exists as God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:3, Hebrews 1:2-3)

  • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. (Philippians 2:5-8)

  • Holy Spirit is a person in the Godhead and God's agent in the world; and the Holy Spirit dwells in all that receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Acts 13:2, Ephesians 4:30)

  • The Old and New Testament Scriptures are the divinely inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)

  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation. (Romans 3:23; 3:11-18)

  • Salvation has been provided for all men through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:3-4; 12-20)

  • It is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:7-8; Acts 8:14-17)

  • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer. (Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:16-17)

  • The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. (Acts 2:41; Acts 4:4)

  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust and will be judged according to their works; Anyone whose name is written in the Book of Life shall be saved. (Revelation 20:4-15, John 3:16, Luke 10:20) 

  • The return of Jesus Christ will be personal and visible. (Matthew 24:30-35, Acts 1:9-11; Acts 3:20-21)

  • Biblical Equality: 
    We believe in the Biblical equality and value of all human persons, as men, women, and children of all races were created in the image of God and are called to His service. (Gen.1:27; John 1:12; Gal.3:28; Joel 2:28, 29)
